Anna Louise Bulloch

I am a British multidisciplinary artist designer based in Newcastle upon-Tyne, UK. My primary interests lie with the application of virtual reality software within surface pattern design and embroidery practices. My work seeks to preserve traditional textile techniques through combining them with the VR technology. My practice is a combination of physical and digital (phygital) surface pattern design and 3D mixed media. These works are often interlaced with texture and tactility in the form of embroidery. I especially enjoy working with unconventional or found materials, giving each piece of work a unique story.
