Intentions
This project was heavily inspired by Laura Perryman’s ‘Colour manifesto’. Honing in on her ideas of colour sustainability I constructed a piece created completely from waste products, recycling their colour. I repurposed used papers, blending them to pulp before constructing new paper. I then dyed each sheet with homemade dyes made from ingredients in my cupboards. Each motif was drawn from an organic pattern I had taken from the natural world.
