Crown Paints Metaverse Stand

In a collaboration with Crown Paints I was chosen through a pitching process to collaborate on updating their colour insights stand at at Material Source, Manchester.​ The other two selectees and I integrated our design concepts over the course of several weeks, in response to their new Colour Insight, Metaverse. Themes like virtual reality, disruption, and dreamscapes were used to reflect this in our ideas, making a strong visual reference to pixels and retro technology. During this process, I learnt how to translate my personal practice (mixed media print, embroidery and​ We worked with Neon Creations, Bolton to reflect one of my designs in a neon lighting piece encased within a 70’s TV set. We also collaborated with Designer, Maker Tim Denton who assisted in design and constructed the final base structure.
